Barbara Moore

Barbara J. Moore has a doctorate degree from Indiana University specializing in Counseling Psychology. She provides individual, couples and family therapy and maintains a private practice in Fort Worth, Texas and Abiquiu, New Mexico. Virtual sessions are offered. 

With over 35 years experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Mexico, a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are life coaching, critical incident stress debriefing, EAP services including on-site services with local companies, and psychotherapy services with individuals ages 18 and older.

Dr. Moore's therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
